The Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency the Honourable Professor Margaret Gardner AC, visited Odyssey’s Lower Plenty Therapeutic Community in February with Odyssey Staff and met with Odyssey Victoria Chair, Jenny Macklin and Odyssey CEO Dr Stefan Gruenert.
The Governor of Victoria, as with previous Governors of Victoria, have acted as Odyssey’s Patron-in-Chief throughout their terms, providing support and prestige to the work of our organisation.
The Governor attended the facility to review the work conducted by the staff, and meet with residents who provided her with a tour of the facility. The Governor also attended the General Meeting where all residents and staff come together to acknowledge and celebrate resident’s successes in moving through the program.
